Do

When I type a program name ("gnome-terminal"), Define is the default action - why?

Asked by Onno Steenbergen

Lets say i type gnome-terminal instead of terminal.
Gnome Do reaction is to ask me to define a word. Never used that feature and probably never will (does anyone use it?)
But how do I, by default, select the open option?

Or even better i believe gnome-launch-box has it, recognize that what I type is a command in my start menu and shows me the Icon

"does anyone use it?" - yes, I use the dictionary command.

I can only suggest that you learn to use the names presented in your GNOME applications menus. As to the default commands, soon GNOME Do will recognize you prefer the open command to the define command, and open will become the default action.
