Why would you like to search that drive? To open individual music files? I recommend you import that music into Rhythmbox and try the Rhythmbox addin.

Well I have all kinds of drives, and all kinds of files. What I would like to do is just type the name of say a group and have GNOME DO list all the files with the name of the group in the file name.

So you want to type "Beatles" and have all music files with "Beatles" in the file name show up? If you are using a new enough version, you should have a file in ~/.do/FileItemSource.config where you can specify folders to index and to what depth (this is only a temporary solution); however, this isn't what GNOME Do is for. Indexing a lot of song files will saturate your search results with song files. You may want to try Tracker or Beagle for this task.

I have this problem; do 0.1 indexes my ~/Music folder and clutters results and my .do dir only has the addins folder. Should I switch to a newer version?

Carl, always make sure you're using the newest version. Here is some installation and download info: http://do.davebsd.com/?q=content/download
