Do

Variable internet shortcut?

Asked by Mikeenubuntu

Id like to input an alias for an url, and then press tab for tweaking the url. For example, the url would be http://www.google.com/search?q=something and then i could change the "something" to "something2" in the second tab. And then "enter" for going to http://www.google.com/search?q=something2 in my browser. If there is a link where I could read how to do this it would be great. Thanks!

There is a search plugin which will let you search things, Google being one of them, but there is no general way to attach parameters to a url. It would be very easy to write one that does this though.

Can you help with this problem?
