Gnome-Do dead?

Asked by notrock

Just wondering if the Do project is dead. There hasn't been an update in awhile and there isn't a PPA for lucid.

We're not dead, we're just all busy with other things. More like on a short hiatus.

Hi there! I am a huge fan of Gnome Do (I really think it should be a default application of the Gnome Desktop). It makes a lot of time that without any updates at the webpage and it is hard to find what is going on with Gnome Do.

I've seen that Docky became so popular and because of some technical reasons, Docky has its own project. Even though, I would like to know what is the state of Do and I would suggest to give some info at webpage, since the last update is from the end of 2009.

Thank you very much!

PS: By the way, there is any relation between this project and Ubuntu Unity?
