GCalculate doesn't work

Asked by Rob86

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 iwth Gnome and Gnome do 0.8.1.3. I enabled the GCalc plugin, but it doesn't seem to work for me. I type in a calculation, for example, "5+5" without the brackets, select GCalculate. The GNOMEDo window disappears briefly, and re-appears a few seconds later, but without showing any any calculation result. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

I am getting something similar. Even if I do one of the example problems shown on the plugin info page (http://do.davebsd.com/wiki/index.php?title=GoogleCalculator_Plugin).

My solution is to change this question into a bug report (but first be sure that a similar one doesn't already exist).

Same problem for me. Has anyone come up with a solution or opened a bug report yet?

Can you help with this problem?
