Support for multiple monitors

Asked by infodroid

As I understand it, this tool is for configuring dual monitors. However, it should be possible to configure any number of monitors, not just two. Is there any reason why this is not happening right now? I thought it would be rather easy to generalize for the N-monitor case rather than target only the 2-monitor case.

See the "current" screenshots on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DisplayConfigGTK

If I understand it correctly, it does detect more than one screen. One may be set as the primary display, while all the other screens can be added to it (to the left, right, cloned).

While I prefer the drag/droppable nvidia configuration area which allows more direct manipulation of the screen position, this looks fairly complete.

Can you help with this problem?
