disk-manager strange behaviour

Asked by roger64

Hi

I installed some days ago disk-manager on Feisty.
- It changed a lot of things in my /etc/fstab without warning (for ex: make a copy of your old fstab).
- All info about UUID disappeared in /etc/fstab except for the swap partition.
- It created a double of five partitions beginning with /dev/mapper which means that fsck, when checking, does a double and useless work.
- When I delete it, (sudo apt-get remove --purge disk.manager), there is still a lot of old files related to it left on the disk.

Is this behaviour considered to be normal?
