synchronizing diodon between two hosts on LAN?

I would like to synchronize the diodon clipboard between two computer in my home. I am hacker but not a developer so if this builtin I can't find any how to's on it.

Currently this is not possible but it would be a great feature which can be implemented as plugin.

On the plugin wishlist there is one suggestion to use U1DB library for this. See https://blueprints.launchpad.net/diodon/+spec/ideas-for-plugins Some coding will be necessary though.

But if you want to do some self-engenieering. Diodon is using Zeitgeist which uses a sqlite database. Location of this database file can be configured through the env variable `ZEITGEIST_DATABASE_PATH`. And a tool like https://github.com/dkulchenko/watchdb could be used to synchronize the databases between machines.

I have never done this before but might be a way if you want to do some hacking not using code.
