Diodon indicator does not show up on Pop!_os 19.10

Asked by yoav kleinfeld

I had Diodon working fine on Ubuntu 18.10, on Pop!_os 19.10 I can't get it to show on the taskbar

I open gnome tweaks, and under extensions it's there but disabled, and it's not possible to enable it.

Actually the first time I saw it there I did turn it on, but nothing showed on the taskbar. after rebooting, I open tweaks and it's disabled saying "Error loading extension"

Non of the other available clipboard managers seem to work - clipit or clipman

I do not know what is different Pop!_os 19.10 as I have never used it but Ubuntu comes usually with Application Indicator support which many application use as Diodon also does.

What you could do is to try installing https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/615/appindicator-support/ which adds indicator support to Gnome shell.

Can you help with this problem?
