feature request: ignore whitespace only selections

I'd like a preference to ignore whitespace-only selections.

This is a good point. Question is whether there even needs to be an option resp. whether there is a use case where selecting whitespace (maybe even copying) needs to be added to the clipboard history?

Desire for whitespace only selections in history probably pretty rare use case.

For some reason when I switch to a terminal I often inadvertently select some whitespace (just before I click the middle mouse).
