keyboard control also for wine-program?

Asked by Dan-cer

I've the preference checked: selected text automatically insert in clipboard (in german: Automatisches einfügen des ausgewählten items).

This is working fine on ubuntu programs, but not on wine-programs: In PDF-XChange Editor, installed with Wine, I first have to mark the text and then to copy (ctrl+c) to get it into clipboard.

Is it possible to run the checked preference in Wine-programs too?

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 64bit, Wine 1.6.2, Diodon 1.2

This is unfortunately not possible at this point as Wine doesn't support primary selection, therefore clipboard doesn't get triggered when anything is selected in an app started by Wine. Hence such selections are not added to the Diodon history.

You can read more details why this is here http://wiki.winehq.org/CopyAndPaste

Thank You very much for Your answer! The problem isn't solved yet, but I hope it will be solved in further wine versions.
