What is the difference between Dexter and Dexter Contacts?

I managed to get both `dexter` and `dexter-contacts` on my machine. Am I correct in assuming `dexter-contacts` is the officially-supported release?

Yes, dexter-contacts is the official supported apps and it's better than dexter for some aspects. It is build in Vala so it is faster and it uses libfolks which allows a better integration in all the Gtk-based apps
