Database deadlock error code

Hi,

When Designate API and Designate Central return the database deadlock error, the error code is 500 Internal Server Error.
Is 500 Internal Server Error right?
We think Designate return 503 Service Unavailable and asking to retry to user are appropriate.

Please teach me whether 500 Internal Server Error is a correct specification when the database deadlock error occurs.
