How Do You Setup The Designate Agent?

I'm attempting to setup the designate agent on a remote DNS server (Bind 9). Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in figuring out the configuration to make this work.
So, how do you setup the designate agent (configuration) and what is the configuration on the server running designate central?
