newer releases of Ubuntu?

Asked by Kaihsu Tai

Is the repository http://dell-mini.archive.canonical.com/ going to contain anything other than Hardy Heron? I am impatient for a dist-upgrade, and cannot really wait until 10.04 LTS to resolve all the inadequacies.

According to a Dell official, the company will upgrade its Ubuntu Linux OS for netbooks to the latest version in the next few weeks, he said.

So Jaunty for the mini maybe behind the corner. Let's keep finger crossed.

More indications of Jaunty coming soon are from the new repositories that have been pushed in the dell-mini archive:

Any instructions on how to upgrade to Jaunty, without reinstalling? I am really expecting a good customer experience: upgrading with the push of a button (and waiting a couple of hours, which is reasonable).

LTS 10.04 has arrived but no new version for the Dell Mini. I'm too wondering when the possibility of an upgrade to a more recent version will be available.

Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS (Lucid Lynx) out a couple of months ago, but still no updates at all.

Can you help with this problem?
