Accented characters and gnome-do

Asked by David Gucwa

When I want to run Déjà Dup quickly by using gnome-do, I have to remember to type in "dup" rather than "deja" -- I'm guessing because the 'e' and 'a' aren't matching the 'é' and 'à'. Is this something you can even do anything about, or is that on gnome-do?

I think that's an issue with gnome-do. Besides dropping the accent on my end, I don't think there's anything I can do.

It might be easier to mentally associate the word 'backup' rather than 'dup'.

This is bug 223586 in gnome-do.

Can you help with this problem?
