How does deja dup handle the 750gb upload limit in gdrive

Asked by JP Logan

I'm looking into using deja-dup to back up a media server to a gdrive account with unlimited storage. I was wondering how exactly it handles running into the 750gb daily limit on uploads google has. will it wait and continue once the time rolls over or will it end and run the next scheduled time. Just need to know what behavior to expect

Great question -- we don't do anything special as of now. It's possible we should add special logic to handle that, for sure.

So I'd expect you'd currently see an error when Google stops letting us upload. And then next time it tries to back up, it would resume where it left off. So a fair bit annoying, but not devastating.

Can you help with this problem?
