Correct entry in Terminal for one file restore

Asked by ozdroggy

I do not seem to get the correct format for the restore one file.

The duplicity backup is on TeraB (Hard drive name) , BULinux18.318Feb20 (folder).

The full entry for the file in the 'duplicity-inc.20200318T201045Z.to.20200325T195524Z.manifest' is:

new "home/ozdroggy/Documents/Willandra/WVRC/FinanceCtee/Budget202021/WV\x202021\x20Budget\x20-\x20Cut\x201\x2018032020\x20FSC\x20MCchanged.xlsx"

I want to restore this one file to the original folder (Budget202021) which is:

Documents/Willandra/WVRC/FinanceCtee/Budget202021

I have tried to use "duplicity restore" and "deja-dup --restore"

My Terminal entry starts with "ozdroggy@I3847 ~ $"

Can some kind soul please tell me the correct terminal entry to follow: ozdroggy@I3847 ~ $

The original file has been accidentally deleted from my computer.

Thanks...... Mike

Hello ozdroggy,

you can try this:

deja-dup --restore-missing ~/Documents/Willandra/WVRC/FinanceCtee/Budget202021

this will launch the proper user interface where you can select the desired file (after quite some waiting time).

Can you help with this problem?
