wrong hostname

Asked by Hervé Morel on 2017-11-26

I am using deja-dup from a long time but since an update in Ubuntu 17.10 the backup no longer operate because of an hostname missmatch.
the already existing backup is "AMPERE401-R040" (i.e. my hostname specified by /etc/hostname) but deja-dup considers that my hostname is AMPERE401-R53. It seems that this wrong hostname is incremented at each reboot (not sure!)

Could you Help me ?

Sincerely,
Hervé Morel

This question was expired because it remained in the 'Open' state without activity for the last 15 days.
