Possible enhanceement - network browse

Asked by Peter Pfeiffer

My OS = Ubuntu Mate 16.04 64bit connected via wifi to my router to which I have a connected NAS.

I love the simplicity DejaDup provides!

I did find it a bit odd that the first backup defaulted to my home without any sort of indication to choose an alternate location. I decided to perform another backup to choose a network location, this proved somewhat difficult. I'll admit I didn't read any of the documentation I simply forged ahead using Caja to discover a correct identification of my NAS ... [afp://<email address hidden>/My_Book_1144_2/dell_ub_backup ] which worked as the backup target perfectly.

My apologies if this is covered in the docs. I believe a nice addition to the gui interface would be a selector for choosing easily identified locations. The fact that placing my location in the correct place in the gui seemingly indicates that this could be added, possibly in an all inclusive advance set up choice on the main screen.
