Can't restore from Deja Dup

When trying to restore to a clean installation of Ubuntu 14.0.4 the restore starts and then signs me out if I do it within the clean install with no settings or programs restored.

I then tried using a live USB and restoring to original locations and it takes hours and says that restore is complete but with failings on many many files.

I can see that some files have restored but very few and no settings or PGP keys etc.

Can anyone help at all?
