Selecting a backup device location by device name instead of by size

Asked by Paul Coleman

When selecting a backup location Dup reports devices by size "80 GB filesystem". If you have a bunch of devices with the same size there is no way to tell were you are backing up to. At least in Nautilus you can mount them all to find the one you really wanted to mount. Any solution?

Sorry for not answering.

Deja Dup avoids mounting all possible mounts just to get their names. I think that's the right decision. But without mounting, the system doesn't give us any better names...

Not sure of a good solution for this. As a workaround, you can mount them in nautilus, then open Deja Dup and see the more detailed names.

Can you help with this problem?
