Déjà Dup

Restoring backup to same location option.

Hi Michael - I apologize for my fourth question in two days but your help is greatly appreciated. I am trying to learn as much about Deja Dup as I can. I have browsed through dozens of answers some of which touch on the above summary without actually spelling out the answer for this humble user.
I am pre-empting the possibility of a HD failure which would then require a restore. I would then do a fresh install. My question then is - Would I set up the new installation with four users with the same names and passwords? I would then assume the restore would then place such items as Bookmarks and Mp3 files in the correct place. Would this be correct or would I be expecting too much of the tool? Hoping you don't think this is too much of a dumb question!
