Puzzled by time of automatic backups

Asked by brian fitzgerald

I have set up Deja Dup to do automatic backups on a daily basis to a NAS I have.
The Nas is set to turn off in the overnight hours to save power and prolong the disks but how is it that Deja Dup more often than not tries to do its back up during the wee hours when the NAS is off?
No kidding.... 70% of the time. My question
How can I constrain it to do its automatic backups in a defined span of time?

Sorry, there's no way to constrain the time. Deja Dup just does what it wants there. Note there is bug 479191 which requests more scheduling options.

Can you help with this problem?
