How to add wastebasket to exclude list?

Asked by Richard Senior

If I accidentally removed the wastebasket from the exclude list for a backup, how do I add it again? It doesn't come up in the file dialog.

I could just reset everything, but I can't find the configuration under .gconf. I'm looking for ~/.gconf/dejadup. I tried uninstalling, including configuration files but it's still hanging onto the settings and not letting me exclude wastebasket.

This is v18.1.1

Ah, after some clues from the source code I found it in dconf-editor under org/gnome/deja-dup and used the "Set to Default" option.

Ah, great. For the future, or other people curious, the wastebasket is secretly ~/.local/share/Trash
