Wishlist - Need to restore only a file or folder from gui.

Asked by Juanjo Algaz

Great Work!

It's possible to restore only 1 file or 1 folder from gui? (from backup)

I need Déjà Dup to easy restore (for users) backup I have realized with Duplicity. (command line script)

I right clicked on one of the files in the original directory and hit restore previous version, but this dont work (maybe because is a backup realized with Duplicity and not by Déjà Dup)

Thx

Juanjo A.

Duplicity-created backups should work with Deja Dup. You may need to configure Deja Dup first to point at the duplicity backup. Run Deja Dup, go to Edit -> Preferences and point it at the directory you put the duplicity files.

See http://live.gnome.org/DejaDup/Help/Restore/LostFile for more information on restoring a single file (though you it sounds like you found the Nautilus context menu item, which is a good way to do it).

Can you help with this problem?
