Covers Problem (Am I being stupid?)

Asked by Sam Bartle

I have just installed DAP and it's amazing, theres just a few issues.

The main one now is that I cannot get cover suport to work at all.

I have in every folder with my mp3's at least the following: cover.bmp, cover.jpg, Folder.jpg (some also have AlbumArt.jpg and Front.jpg, Back.jpg and Disc.jpg)

In DAP covers preferences I have set: cover, folder as the filenames with no extensions as specified

I have never seen a cover be shown for any albums or songs.. I don't think it's me but it could well be.. Is there something obvious I'm missing? (I've also tried automatic download of covers option and still don't see covers)

Can you start DAP from the command line? You will maybe get addition error messages. You can also open the file ~/.config/decibel-audio-player/Logs/log, you can get information from there. Have try to select the "Download covers" option? Does it work?

Can you help with this problem?
