Nautilus open with command using remote

Asked by lachlan-00

i think i have something wrong with the way i'm typing this but i'm not sure. i'm either being very stupid or something's missing.

i'm trying to create a command from nautilus in "open with" that will just add my selected file/s to the current decibel window. i can get all the remote commands to work this way except pl-add and pl-set which require file arguments.

open with:
decibel-audio-player-remote pl-add %F

so far i've tried %F %f %U %U and %k but decibel will never add tracks to the play list when i double click a file. i tried it without an argument as well with the same results. i can get it to play a track from nautilus by using "decibel-audio-player" as the open with command but it opens a new player window which isn't what i want.

I also just tried it in the terminal from an album folder:
decibel-audio-player-remote pl-add ./01-intro.mp3

no luck either.

Any updates on this? I can't get it to add files from the command line using something like;

decibel-audio-player-remote pl-add 02\ days\ to\ come\ \(feat.\ bajka\).mp3

No error, but the file doesn't get added either.

Can you help with this problem?
