Adding a network share in file explorer

Asked by Jim Kempton

Just discovered Decibel and it's exactly what I've been looking for, many thanks.

It is possible to point file Explorer at network shares ? They are mounted and are easily visible elsewhere. I'm using Ubuntu 8.10.

I have a number boxes around the house with mp3 and flac files all over the place.

best

Jim

If it's mounted, you can simply go to the preferences of the File Explorer (using ctrl-p or the menu item) and add a new root folder.

Can you help with this problem?
