command line

Asked by mehturt

Is it possible (or will it be possible) to control decibel audio player from command line?
I'd like e.g. to map a key to toggle Play/Pause
Thanks
m.

You should already be able to use decibel-audio-player-mote to do that.

speaking of command line is there a way to set DAP to open a track in the current playlist from Nautilus instead of a new DAP window?

i'm using 'decibel-audio-player' as my open with command in GNOME and it's opening a new window each time.
the remote commands require a file name at the end of the command and that's where i fall down.

so what i'm looking for is:

open nautilus -> click file -> DAP opens and plays -> click another file -> replace playlist and play OR add to existing playlist and keep playing
