specify options on url

Asked by Redmar

The Dutch translation team coordinates its translations via our wiki page, and it would be really helpful if we could put a link on our wiki that takes translators directly to some specific page in nightmonkey.
For example.
Translator 1 will work on: universe, untranslated, sorted most popular, 20 rows, first page of nightmonkey <LINK>
Translator 2 will work on: universe, untranslated, sorted most popular, 20 rows, second page of nightmonkey <LINK TO THAT>

I'm not familiar with web development, so a list of available options would be great.

Hi!

Take a look at the webpage, you can see a permalink text next to the paginator. If you click on it you get the link of the current page. I hope this is a usable function, feel free to share you opinion.

Wow, such service, thanks a lot! There is still one little thing, namely that the permalink doesn't specify the page you are currently on. i.e. it always takes you to the frist 100 or so strings that match all chosen settings. When I hover my mouse over the button to go to say the second page the URL shows nightmonkey.ubuntu.hu/100, but using that as URL (alone or in combination with the permalink) doesn't seem to work.

The permalink as it is already works great of course, so I don't know if it's worth your time to make it even better.

Anyway, thanks again for implementing this so quickly!

Could you please try again? The permalink contains now the page number and it should work too.

Hi, sorry for my late reaction. I've tested it again and now I can use the permalink to link to individual pages, thanks a lot! This will certainly help the translation effort for the package descriptions.
