Abort and resume

Hello!

I currently have a disk process going, I'm creating an img file from an external hdd, over to another externan hdd.
If I choose abort, will I be able to resume where I left off, if I choose the same log file the next time I boot up?

Also, are there any risks aborting this process?

Yes, as long as you use the same input, output, and log/map file you will be able to resume.

The only risk is that your source drive might not work then next time you power it on, depending on what kind of condition it's in - generally this doesn't seem to happen much though :)
