Recovering 1TB drive with bad sectors to a new 2TB drive

Every time I run ddrescue-GUI it finished with no errors ...... I am trying to recover a 1TB drive to a brand new Samsung M3 2TB Drive everythin g goes fine until it's finished...... It won't mount my 2TB Samsung M3 ...... Windows can't read it Linux can't read it no OS can mount it? I'm stuck the Samsung M3 is brand new yes it worked before I used ddresuce-GUI but no OS can read it after using ddrescue ...... as soon as I format it after the recovery all OS's can read the Samsung M3 What am I doing wrong losing the hope here thiking this software doesn't do what it's supposed to do! Anything esle needed I will be glad to post back needed info..... Yes I did create a .log file etc........ I used balanced recovery, fast recovery, and best recovery ...... (6 days now trying to recover my drive) each time my Samsung M3 ends up unreadable by any OS..... what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Okay, sounds like an annoying problem. Does the GUI show the data as recovered?

Are you running the recovery on Linux, or Mac OS X?

Even though the recovery is complete, it seems the filesystem with the data on it may be damaged. To get some more information on the problem, please open a terminal in Linux (CRTL + ALT + T), and type (witout the quotes):

"sudo lsblk -af"

And then hit enter, and paste the output here, and hopefully that should let me know what's going on :)
