DC++

No slots available

I'm getting a No slots available from a certain user. And been getting that since last night and its getting annoying!! I heard this means 2 things but i cant tell which one it is

Is their a way to fix it where i can still download from him?

If you are using the latest version of DC++, go to File, Settings, Queue & enable Automatically search for alternative download locations + Automatically match queue for search hits & hit OK.

Also, on your Download Queues, if you have a file(s) with "No users to download from, No slots available & Offline" right-click on the file(s) Set Priority to Highest.

Finally, depending on how many upload slots that user has opened but not your side. If you wait a while, it will start eventually. If you have to ask for an upload slot on that user, do it as a last resort. Users only grant upload slots on old, rare, hard-to-find items that you can give in exchange for & not new ones, unfortunately.
