DC++

Can download but no search results

Hi,
I just installed DC++ 0.75 under Windows 7. I'm running in active mode behind a router in UPnP mode, and I am able to connect to any hub, to download file lists from other users and even to download files if I choose them directly from the individual file lists. But any search through the search-engine give no results...
Any ideas why ?

Well, I actually tried port forwarding by manually configuring my router - and that worked perfectly under XP, but not anymore under W7 - but I don't think my problem comes from active mode as such, as I can connect to hub, download, but not search.

in general it is when your TCP port is forwarded correctly but not the UDP one; but there are other failure cases, see this FAQ: <http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/webhelp/faq_nosearch.html>

Incase anyone wonders, I just figured the answer out myself. What I did was made the TCP port different than the UDP port. The UDP port being the suspecting pinpointed issue in this question.....

My issue was solved just now too.
