An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote hos

Asked by ScottA

I've been using DC++ for years, but just in the last 2 weeks I haven't been able to connect to any hub on any hublist without getting this message. I've had my router for about a year and have already set it up (Port Forwarding) and haven't had any trouble before. I've also had Norton Int. Security configured to allow DC++, with no problems. I'm at a loss here, and don't know where to turn. My internet connections are fine so I'm not losing anything. I haven't needed to reset router or modem, because they are working properly. I'm wondering if Windows Update may have done something....Please Help.

Thanks Scott

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host aka Connection reset by server. Try other hub networks in DC++.

DC++ FAQ #154: "How should I set up connection in DC++?" https://answers.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+faq/154

What version of DC++ are you currently using & OS as in XP or Vista?

Can you help with this problem?
