Magnet Key Handler Uni Network

I continue to get the
"Error registering Magnet link handler"

I have tried all the options, I have seen the link to the FAQ but I cannot understand how to fix it. I live on residence at a University so I do not have access to some of the info I think I need to set up active mode.

If anyone could explain the simplest way to FIX the problem without using that FAQ that i do not understand that would be great, is it a download or am I just configuring wrong?

Ps: I run Vista, with DC++ v 0.75

if you never come across any Magnet link, you could simply disable the setting in Settings > Advanced.
if you want to keep it, i guess you could try to run DC++ in admin mode.

note that this setting has no relation whatsoever with downloads and active mode. it simply adds a handler in the Windows Registry so that clicking on a Magnet link can open up DC++ automatically.
