Problem Reading From New Drive

Asked by graeme3

I've just purchased a Hitachi Neso 500gb external drive in order to use it as my main destination source, but the music I'm putting on it isn't being recognised. I've added it in "sharing", watched the files hash, but that's as far as it goes. The drive & file are showing in "shared directories", but on zero gb. Any ideas please?

Go to File, Settings, Sharing, Remove & Add Folder then hit OK.

This could be be due to the name of the virtual folder & letter change. For example, you share F:\ drive & later went to G:\ drive.

You have to be patient rehashing files if it's a letter switch.

In between, what version of DC++ & OS are you currently using, as in XP or Vista?
