Asked by dudenell

I am just wondering how DC++ bans users when the ban is not by IP?

DC++ does not have a feature to ban users. Banning IP can only be done by OPs who run hubs. If you want to ban a user, personally, use a 3rd party software.

When someone gets a ban in a hub, it's done by:
Nick and IP,
Nick,
IP
or the DNS,
And also the actual client can be banned in the hub that someone is trying to connect with. At least this is the case in an NMDC hub like Ynhub.
