DC++

unfair ban

I've been using the RUXAN hub for the past two years without any problems. Recently, I just moved from one dorm to another, and when I tried to use DC++, it says my ip address is banned. I've been banned for almost TWO months now, the worst part is I can't connect to the RUXAN website either to plead for my case. I can't get a new IP address since I use the school network, neither can I find any host to help solve my problem. The only thing i can think of is that the person who lived here before did something to get her ip address banned, and now i'm the one who's being punished. Could someone please kindly help me with this?

whenever i open it, i get the following message:
<Hub-Security> Your IP or Hostname is banned
*** Disconnected

thanks for the suggested article, but i can't do any of those things. RUXAN is the only hub address i can use; i have no access to the contact info of the host, i can't get a new IP. Man, so frustrated...

We;re sorry, but as the article says, we dont know RUXAN, we have no idea who they are , we never connected there, it's their right to ban whoever they want and there is nothing we can do about it.
