Chinese character search doesnt work

Hi, i was wondering when i typed in chinese characters for the search bar, why nothing showed up but i saw filters on the bottom, i'm trying to find chinese files but nothing shows up

=( but It seems like there are no files that show up at all every time i search with chinese characters but everyone else who is in same hub seems to be able to find the files

this should work on ADC hubs.

however, if you are using (old) NMDC hubs, this could be an encoding problem, because there is no defined encoding to be used in these hubs. open your Favorites.xml file in the install folder of DC++ and check the "Encoding" parameter for these hubs. if it is set to a locale that doesn't support the character set you are trying to use, then likely there is your problem. you can fiddle with it and it *could* work...
