DC++

I get this message,"Error saving hash data. The system cannot find the file specified." then it shows a hashed file. it is taking a long time to hash

I tried /rebuild with no luck. All of these files are on external usb drive. I would appreciate any other suggestions

You don't have the appropriate rights to access the hashdata file (and may some other config files as well). Make sure you run DC++ as an user with the rights the DC++ folder needs. If you use Vista check this FAQ : https://answers.launchpad.net/dcplusplus/+faq/92
