DC++

searches disabled for username

Everytime I go to search for something on DC++...Cro Bot tells me that searches have been disabled for my username and I'm just wondering whats going on with that and how I fix it. I don't know if it's just some connection problem or what because I think I am connected.

That is the hub's setup, most likely you have to reg your nick or something like that. Try read the motd (the message when entering the hub), if any PM is sent to you from the hub, or PM an OP (users with key infront of their nicks, rightclick the nick in userlist and use the private message there).

Or just find another hub where you can login without having to register or anything like that.

Hmm idk, i registered and such and it's still giving me the same "searches disabled for your username" so I have no idea. How do you find another hub?

You can click the Public Hubs button on your toolbar , or View -> Public Hubs then you will get a list of hubs to which you can connect...
