DC++

Invalid IP address

I have windows vista and I think I'm having problems with conflicting IP addresses or something.
I can connect to hublists but cannot connect to users lists - and therefore cannot download anything.
A message comes up when I try to connect to user lists ........
"Your direct connect client has supplied an invalid IP address in a connection request (client sent 212.185.134.65, you have 212.183.134.66). This is usually a client configuration problem" ......

So, what does this mean?
how can i sort it out?
I have found my IP address by the whatsmyip website, but no idea what to do next.
