DC++

can't connect DC++

here is the message i'm getting...

*** Connecting to rockinblues.servebeer.com:1711...
*** A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

this hub won't open and i can't connect to any others either - i don't understand the problem - is it simply because the hub i'm trying to connect with is down or is it a problem with the settings on my computer? - can anyone explain?

This particular hub seems to be down. If you open a (fresh) public hublist and you are unable to connect to any hub listed there then you should have (probably a firewall) problem in your side as well.

i really appreciate your reply - i checked the public hublist and i can connect to hubs there so i guess that means i don't have a firewall issue (i've port forwarded) and the hub i want to connect to is down - i wonder why and for how long? - just wait and see i guess - thx eMTee
