dc++ doesn't move finished files

Asked by immortuus

Hi, I got a Problem with my DC++ 0.706

I set the download dir to: d:\download and the incomplete downloads dir to: c:\temp

On both HDD's is enouth free space.
The Problem is that after complet downloading a File it sometimes happens that the file is not
moved to d:\download it still stands in c:\temp and is komplete removed from DC++

How can I say DC++ try to move the files aigan?

sorry for the bad enlisch, but its 2:00 AM and i'm at a Lan Party and want to get it work...

This can happen if the target drive has not enough space or some other things keep DC++ to move the finished file to the target location (access rights, file creation error, too long path, etc...)

I figured it out,

When you close DC++ the Proces dose not terminate emediatly, When you restart your PC or kill the Proces while CD++ is still working this happen...

Also, if the file is very big, it may take a while to move it to another drive...

Anything can happen if you close DC++ this way... Wait until the process finishes before restart and never kill DC++. If it takes very long time or never finishes, then its because of other software, your firewall, anti-virus, etc...
