how are question answered in dc++

I previous enquired as to whether or not I should upgrade to one of the newer versions. I apologize.I am new to this and did notknow the protocol.

I saw the new versions. Have declined. Am I ok without updating the version in terms of the impact on my ability to download your fine user files?

If you use versions older than 0.674 you will not be able to download from newer versions than that.
But I have some advice for you, older versions have really bad remote exploit bugs, and people can potentially break into your PC. So I would upgrade.
