Option to avoid double dipping

Asked by Adriaan(NL)

Could you please put an option in 'settings' where i can choose 'don't download from the same IP more than once' so DC doesn't start downloading from the same user when he and i are in more (same) hubs. I understand that this reduces certain download chances, but it's really annoying for users to see me popping up in their transfer window more than once. To disable 'autosearch' is a bit too radical and to 'remove user from queue' works only temporarily and only when i'm working directly with DC (it's often running in the background, where i don't see what's happening).

This happens only in NMDC hubs because of the protocol's bad identification scheme. However, in ADC hubs it's not possible because of the enhancements the new protocol is having. Don't know if anybody wants to find a solution to this issue since DC++ wants to move more and more to ADC.
( The solution you are providing is not good, because there could be more users under one IP, so with your idea only one could download )

Can you help with this problem?
