DC++

I have been banned and am unsure why, how can I get unbanned?

I just figured out how to work DC++, and was so happy to be able to do it. I am on the ruxan.com:1411 hub and have just been using it to download some things. Today I got the message:
11:34] <Hub-Security> Your IP or Hostname is banned
[11:34] *** Disconnected
I don't know what it is I could have done. I live in the towers on livingston campus, so I know that it is not where I live. Please help.
