Did this happen on previous versions? Maybe your ISP imposes a form of traffic shaping - doesn't allow you to download from p2p?

I can download just fine. Its when others try to get my files. The connection just times out down to 0kbps. I get PM's from other users asking me to share my files.

From the information you've provided I still think it's traffic shaping. I've seen behaviour like this before where uploading is restricted on DC++, the ISP Shaw do it for a start. What's your ISP? Have you tried googling your ISP name and traffic shaping or your ISP name and restricting dc++?

My ISP is the local phone company Comporium Communications and nothing comes up when I google it. Oh well, you are probably right.

According to their website they don't block it, but of course that is no guarantee. As I say from the information you have provided that is what it sounds like. You don't get that kind of behaviour with a software firewall or router. My only suggestion is that you try an older version, say 0.699 and see if that helps. (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=40287) I'm out of ideas. Maybe someone else can better aid you.

Can you help with this problem?
